Officers were initially dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of North 4th Street at approximately 9 a.m. Saturday in reference to a domestic-related incident in which a male made threatening statements, Millville police said.
New Jersey State Police and Millville police attempted to make contact with the subject until information was received the male was no longer on location, Chief Ross Hoffman said in a press statement.
The incident remains under investigation.
No one was injured and no arrest has been made at this time, Hoffman said.
